Can I receive credit for previous education or work experience?
If you have previous work education or work experience, we encourage you to apply for evaluation for credit transfer. You may be granted credit towards a Degree, though this credit cannot exceed 75% of the program.
What is your prior education credit policy?
The Director of Education and qualified Program Directors will conduct an evaluation to determine what level of learning your coursework is equivalent to and how many credits are to be granted. We evaluate courses or programs from accredited public or private four-year universities, two-year junior community colleges, public or private technical or vocational schools, and military schools. This evaluation process, which must occur prior to the start of the program, will be completed within 30 days of application for credit.
In order to complete the evaluation process, you must supply us with an official transcript from the institution where your course(s) were taken, as well as copies of the course description(s) from your prior school's catalog. A grade point average of 2.0 or higher must have been earned, and the coursework must have been completed within the last seven years for it to be eligible for transfer. Appeals for credit are referred to and reviewed by the Director of Education, whose decision is final.
Can I transfer credit to other institutions?
Credits earned at our school are not universally transferable. Decisions concerning the acceptance of credits by any other institution are made at the sole discretion of the receiving institution. No representation is made whatsoever concerning the transferability of any credits earned to any institution.
Students considering continuing their education at, or transferring to, other institutions must not assume that credits earned at our school will be accepted by the receiving institution. An institution's accreditation does not guarantee that credits earned at that institution will be accepted for transfer by any other institution. Students must contact the Registrar of the receiving institution to determine what credits, if any, that institution will accept.
What level of English proficiency must I possess to attend your school?
Each student enrolling in a Degree program is required to demonstrate the ability to read and write in standard English. Evidence of such level of English proficiency may be established by transcripts or prior study from English-speaking schools; scores on the entrance exam; personal interviews and/or by special demonstrations orally or in writing. All classes are taught in English.
